Regulations on Compulsory and Elective Courses for Graduate Students in the Program

The minimum graduation requirement for this program is 30 credits. In addition to the zero-credit Academic Research Ethics* course, it includes a 2-credit seminar, a 6-credit thesis, and 22 credits of elective courses.

Students must complete 6 credits of language and culture courses (with program approval, these may be counted as electives).

Credits for compulsory courses cannot be waived by courses taken from other departments or institutions.

Elective courses are limited to full English courses and must be approved by the advisor. If selecting off-campus full English courses, they must be handled in accordance with the university’s "Inter-University Course Selection Regulations".

Academic Research Ethics Course: This is an online course; please refer to the "Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education" to enroll.

Graduate students in this program (except for double-degree students, overseas compatriots, and mainland Chinese students) must take at least 6 credits of language and culture courses in accordance with school regulations, and these credits can be included in the calculation of total credits.
